How to configure your individual alarming, and reporting with the Tech Client?
The Marketing Manager has the monthly tons of CO2 avoided by the solar PV system sent to her by the Green Energy Portal reporting service. She uses this data in a press release.
Data and system integrity
Reporting and alarming are highly powerful and flexible features of the Green Energy Portal. This is made possible by access to core system data. Therefore, in order to protect the integrity of the system, configuration rights to the reporting and alarming services are only granted to operators and administrators. All levels of users can receive alarms and reports.
Variable types
Variables are divided into seven types, i.e. Measurements, Counters, Timers, Events, Setpoints, Commands and Parameters.
The first three (Measurements, Counters, Timers) can be included in daily / weekly / monthly reports. Operators and administrators have the rights to include these variables in reports, and to modify Measurement tolerance ranges that are used by the Green Energy Portal to issue alarm messages.
